Now all classes are in full swing, however, we are in need of your full support in stressing to your child the importance of being on time to every class. We will begin disciplinary actions on Monday, September 18, 2023 if your child is late to class. Thank you in advance for your support.
All St. Landry Parish Public schools will have an early dismissal on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, to facilitate professional learning opportunities. Please be attentive to communication from your child's school, as they will provide you with the precise dismissal times. These times may vary slightly from school to school. If your child typically rides the bus, please ensure someone is available at home to receive them upon their early return. These clear bags are effective for volleyball and basketball season, as well!!
The bags are $15, and they are available to order online only. Orders can be placed until August 11, and bags will be available for pickup at OHS on August 25 from 3-5 pm (the afternoon of our Jamboree!).

Just a reminder OHS registration for 9th grade is tomorrow, 7/27. 10th, 11th and 12th grade registration is Friday, 7/28. Both days 8am-12pm. Students need to wear their school uniform tops for ID pictures.

The OHS Cheer Squad attended UCA Camp at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux La. The girls placed third for their cheer and placed fourth for camp routine and received a spirit stick ever day of camp! Our OHS Cheerleaders who made All-American are Garrieona Brooks, Bryla Williams, Zailyn Thibodeaux, and Brooklyn Jones. Garrieona Brooks received the leadership award! Our OHS Cheerleaders Mya Willis, LaVoncea Beverly, and Garrieona Brooks made it through each round of the Jump Off. LaVoncea Beverly was the overall winner out of the High School Division! Congratulations Ladies!!!!!
